Figma Website Designer (E-Commerce & CRO Focus)

Rate: $2,000 – $3,000 USD/month (salary progression based on performance)
We’re looking for an experienced Figma Web Designer with a strong background in e-commerce and Shopify website design. You’ll be creating conversion-focused landing pages and web experiences that drive measurable results.
You’ll work closely with our CRO strategists and developers to design high-performing pages rooted in data, marketing psychology, and user behaviour.
The ideal candidate has shipped multiple Shopify or e-commerce websites, understands what makes a page convert, and can translate briefs into developer-ready Figma files that look beautiful and sell effectively.

Core Responsibilities
- Design website pages and landing pages for e-commerce brands (Shopify focus)
- Translate CRO briefs into developer-ready Figma designs
- Build component-based layouts using AutoLayout, variables, and styles
- Create mobile-first responsive designs with modern e-commerce UX patterns
- Incorporate CRO principles and consumer psychology into every page
- Write short, persuasive UX copy for CTAs, product messaging, and microcopy
- Maintain pixel-perfect alignment, hierarchy, and brand consistency
- Collaborate with developers for clean, accurate handoff
- Meet weekly output targets (avg. 4 pages/week) while maintaining quality
Required Skills & Experience
Figma Expertise
- AutoLayout, components, variants, and styles
- Organised layers, naming conventions, and clean file structure
- Efficient use of grids, spacing systems, and reusable sections
Web Design Experience (Mandatory)
- Proven experience designing Shopify or other e-commerce websites
- Ability to design landing pages that sell, not just look good
- Understanding of conversion flow — from ad click to checkout
- Skilled in responsive design and mobile-first thinking
- Strong sense of visual hierarchy, rhythm, and brand coherence
Conversion & CRO Knowledge
- Familiarity with high-conversion layouts and persuasion design
- Understanding of consumer behavior, heuristics, and buying triggers
- Knowledge of e-commerce UX best practices and CRO principles
Communication & Copy
- Clear written English and design rationale
- Confident UX writing for buttons, CTAs, and microcopy
- Responsive, organised, and detail-oriented communication
Bonus Skills
- Figma prototyping and advanced structuring
- Experience QA-checking developer builds
- Familiarity with Shopify/Liquid
- Understanding of A/B testing, heatmaps, and session recordings (Hotjar, Clarity, GA4)
- Client-facing communication (Slack, Looms, onboarding calls)
- Experience creating reusable design libraries or templates
