Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for a WordPress Developer + Technical SEO | Core Vitals. The individual will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development, ensuring responsive web design, and optimizing website performance for Core Vitals. They will also handle technical SEO tasks to improve search engine rankings and user experience. We are seeking a highly experienced WordPress Developer with over 10 years of professional experience in building, customizing, and optimizing websites using Divi, Astra, and other leading WordPress frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving Core Web Vitals, enhancing site speed, and implementing SEO best practices.

NO FLEX TIME! Hours 2AM to 7AM PH time or 11AM to 4PM PST Arizona - start part time and grow into full time - FAST PACED: Depending on performance

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using Divi and Astra themes.

Optimize front-end and back-end performance to improve Core Web Vitals and overall site speed.

Ensure all websites are mobile-responsive, SEO-friendly, and adhere to best UX/UI practices.

Implement and manage Google Tag Manager for accurate analytics tracking and reporting.

Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop new features and enhance site functionality.

Manage workflow, deadlines, and project milestones using ClickUp.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in WordPress development.

Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Expertise in Divi and Astra theme development and customization.

Demonstrated success improving Core Web Vitals and site performance.

Experience with Cloudflare, caching systems, and optimization tools.

Strong understanding of SEO principles and hands-on experience using SEMrush.

Proficiency in Google Tag Manager setup and configuration.

Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Experience with WooCommerce and custom plugin development.

Knowledge of website security hardening and advanced analytics integration.

Strong organizational and workflow management skills using ClickUp.
