Wordpress Developer at Resolute Technologies - Anywhere

Our client is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to lead the build, enhancement, and ongoing development of our website and digital platforms. This role plays a key part in advancing our mission by creating reliable, user-friendly, and scalable online experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes, plugins, and site functionality.
• Build new pages, templates, and features that support programs, fundraising, and communication initiatives.
• Optimize site performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and systems to enhance site capabilities.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, documentation, and version control.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress core architecture.
• Experience creating custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and site scalability.
• Familiarity with page builders (Gutenberg, Elementor, etc.) and design-to-development workflows.
• Experience working with APIs, CRMs, and marketing automation platforms preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative communication style.
• Passion for mission-driven work and comfort working in a non-profit environment.
