WordPress Developer at Alyne Group - Anywhere

Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a versatile Website Developer who is skilled in 

both WordPress and Shopify development. The ideal candidate 

should be comfortable building websites from start to 

finish—cloning templates, customizing themes, optimizing speed, 

fixing bugs, and deploying final builds. 

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced 

development, clean code, UI/UX alignment, and delivering high-

performance websites. 

Requirements

• WordPress Development
• Build and customize websites using Elementor, Bricks, or Oxygen
• page builders.
• Create and modify themes, templates, ACF blocks, and custom post
• types.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) and achieve 90+
• Lighthouse scores.
• Handle staging setup, plugin audits, image optimization (WebP),and security scans.
• Troubleshoot PHP, CSS, JS, and plugin issues.
• Shopify Development
• Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS.
• Develop custom sections, templates, and theme extensions.
• Configure Shopify apps, product templates, and store settings.
• Optimize performance, fix app conflicts, and improve page speed.
• Basic understanding of headless Shopify (Hydrogen) is a plus.
• Front-End & Performance
• Build responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, Flexbox, Grid.
• Write clean JavaScript (ES6+).
• Implement SEO basics: meta tags, schema, OG tags.
• Improve loading speeds using caching, CDNs, image compression,
• lazy loading.
• Deployment & Technical Operations
• Deploy websites on cPanel, Lightsail, or managed WordPress
• hosting.
• Manage domains, DNS, SSL, CDN, backups, and migration tasks.
• Conduct QA checks, browser testing, and bug fixes before launch.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with designers and marketers to match UI/UX
• expectations.
• Coordinate tasks via Slack, Notion, or project management tools.
• Join short sync calls only when required for blockers.

Must-Have Skills

• 2 years of experience in Website Development.
• Strong hands-on experience in WordPress + Shopify.
• Good understanding of PHP, MySQL, Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS,
• JavaScript (ES6).
• Experience with Elementor/Bricks/Oxygen and Shopify themes.
• Familiar with ACF, CPT UI, WooCommerce basics.
• Git knowledge (basic branching, commits, pull requests).
• Good English communication for internal coordination.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with React, Next.js, or headless setups.
• Knowledge of API integrations (CRM, marketing tools, webhooks).
• GA4, SEO, or performance troubleshooting knowledge.
