Roles & Responsibilities

Website maintenance & bug fixes

• Monitor and fix frontend/UI bugs (layout issues, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility).
• Work with backend to resolve server errors, broken endpoints, DB issues.

Feature development

• Implement new features & add or modify modules for buyer/seller account management.

UI/UX enhancements

• Translate mockups into working UI to improve usability, navigation flows, forms, and page performance.

Performance optimization

• Optimize page load times, image handling, caching, lazy-loading.
• Monitor and optimize for mobile responsiveness and performance.

Testing & quality assurance

• Write unit tests / integration tests (as applicable).
• Assist in manual QA, regression testing before releases.

Preferred Skills

1. College student connected to South Asian communities on campus
2. Basic proficiency in relevant tech stack (Wordpress)
3. Understanding of responsive design principles and backend web development
4. Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail
5. Willingness to learn, handle assigned tasks independently, ask questions
6. Ability to contribute ~5-7 hours weekly to team meetings and task completion
