Web Designer (WordPress / Theme-Based Systems)

Our client is a fast-growing, fully remote digital platform company that builds and manages large-scale, system-driven websites for property and real estate clients across multiple markets.

They specialize in scalable website rollouts, prioritizing consistency, structure, accessibility, and operational efficiency over one-off creative builds. Their internal tools and workflows support dozens of live sites, making reliability and process-driven execution critical to success.

This role supports high-volume website production within a clearly defined design system and theme framework.

The Role

We are seeking a Web Designer who enjoys working within established design systems and WordPress theme builders. Rather than starting from scratch, you will apply strong UI judgment to execute, maintain, and scale high-quality websites efficiently.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clean, production-ready websites that meet brand, usability, and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and launch websites using WordPress with a theme-based visual builder (YooTheme or similar)
  • Execute theme-driven website rollouts at scale
  • Adapt layouts and components to meet specific client needs while maintaining consistency
  • Manage and update content, media, and site settings within internal platforms
  • Apply UI/UX best practices (spacing, hierarchy, responsiveness, accessibility)
  • Make light HTML/CSS adjustments as needed
  • Optimize images and visual assets for web performance
  • Perform QA to ensure design consistency and standards compliance
  • Support ongoing site updates and refinements post-launch
  • Collaborate with designers, CX teams, and stakeholders in a remote environment

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proven experience building websites using WordPress visual builders
  • Experience with YooTheme or similar tools (Elementor, Divi, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of UI design fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Experience using design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to follow structured processes and design systems
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in real estate, property, or multifamily marketing
  • Experience working in theme-based or system-driven environments

• • Prior remote work experience
