Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a User Interface Designer Intern. Responsibilities include supporting the design team by creating user interfaces, contributing to user experience workflows, building wireframes, and assisting with visual design tasks. As an intern, you will participate in product design cycles, collaborate with the team on feature improvements, and help ensure high-quality design execution across the product.
This is an unpaid, educational internship designed to provide valuable experience in UI/UX design, digital product development, and collaborative workflows in a startup environment.
What you’ll do:
- Design UI components, screens, and layouts in Figma
- Support UX tasks like wireframes, simple research, and user flows
- Collaborate with product and engineering on feature improvements
- Assist in maintaining and evolving the design system
- Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback
- Work on real product problems with the team
Ideal for:
- Undergraduate students interested in UI/UX
- Basic understanding of UX fundamentals
- 4–6 months of experience through coursework, personal projects, or internships
- Sense of typography, basic understanding of hierarchy and spacing, and Color
- Familiar with Figma
- Curious, proactive, and open to feedback
- Able to collaborate remotely with flexible hours
