About the Role

SnapX.ai is seeking a mid-level UI/UX product designer on a contract basis to craft elegant, user-centered interfaces for a portfolio of AI-driven products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and client teams to translate complex requirements into clear flows, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes that drive adoption and measurable outcomes. This role suits a pragmatic designer who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and wants tangible impact across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for client and internal projects, from discovery and user research through delivery and iteration.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity interfaces that align with product goals and technical constraints.
• Build interactive prototypes to validate concepts and communicate transitions, interactions, and edge cases.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to scope features, refine requirements, and ensure pixel-accurate implementation.
• Establish and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and documentation for cross-project consistency.
• Conduct usability testing and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback to iterate designs and improve user metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on product design experience with demonstrable impact in web or mobile product environments.
• Proficiency in Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools, with a portfolio that shows end-to-end product work.
• Practical experience running user research, usability testing, and converting insights into design decisions.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, including typography, layout, information hierarchy, and accessibility fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and client-facing presentations.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

• Prior experience designing interfaces for AI-powered products or data-heavy workflows.
• Familiarity with design systems tooling, component-driven development, and handoff workflows with engineering teams.
• Experience using analytics and A/B testing to measure design impact and prioritize iterations.
