About The Role

Fabletics is seeking a talented UI Designer II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting a world-class shopping experience across multiple platforms, including mobile, tablet, and desktop. Collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will translate business goals and user needs into visually compelling and intuitive interfaces. Your expertise will help shape the look and feel of our digital products, ensuring consistency, usability, and aesthetic appeal. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in consumer-facing product design, proficiency in industry-standard tools like Figma, and a keen understanding of user-centered design principles. This position reports to the Senior Manager, UX/UI Design and offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of activewear e-commerce through innovative design solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in user experience and UI design, including native app experience
• Bachelor’s degree in user experience design, interaction design, visual design, or related field
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and capabilities
• Proficiency with Figma and other relevant design tools
• Experience designing across multiple devices and platforms
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, visual aesthetics, interaction design, and information architecture
• Ability to lead all phases of the design process from conceptual sketches to pixel-perfect comps
• Knowledge of industry best practices, data-driven decision making, and research methodologies
• Experience working within an agile development environment
• Ability to contribute to and define component-based design systems
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, UX team members, developers, and stakeholders to conceptualize and design engaging and functional experiences for web and mobile platforms
• Create and maintain interactive wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed specifications to support product development
• Analyze user interface challenges and develop innovative design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from shoppers and retail associates to inform design improvements
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and scoping discussions for new products, features, and initiatives
• Clearly communicate design rationale and incorporate feedback throughout the design process
• Partner with engineering and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs according to specifications
• Maintain design consistency and best practices across all FableticsOS platforms and brands
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving design standards to continually enhance user experience
