About the Role

We’re looking for a junior to mid level product designer with hands‑on product experience. You’ll work closely with the Product & Design team to design end‑to‑end features from early problem exploration to final UI and developer handoff. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys autonomy, fast iteration, contributing to design systems, collaborating with product and engineering, and solving real, complex problems with clarity. You’ll own research, flows, wireframes, polished UI, prototyping, documentation and iterations based on feedback.

What You’ll Do

• Own end‑to‑end design for product features: research → flows → UI → prototyping → developer handoff.
• Design intuitive flows and interfaces for multi‑role users.
• Create journeys, wireframes and polished UI screens with strong attention to detail.
• Contribute to and maintain our design system with the Design Lead and engineering.
• Run lightweight research and usability validation to inform your design decisions.
• Document designs clearly for developers (interaction notes, states, logic).
• Work collaboratively in an async environment with product and engineering teams.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback from internal teams and real school users.

What You Bring

• Hands‑on product design experience (SaaS, EdTech, agency or similar).
• Strong ability to produce polished UI and clear UX flows.
• Experience working with design systems (creating components, using variants, documenting patterns).
• Ability to design fast without compromising craft or clarity.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and comfort working remotely.
• Proficiency in Figma and collaboration tools (Notion, ClickUp, Loom, etc.).
• Ability to collaborate directly with developers and understand technical constraints.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Proficiency in Visual Design and Product Design, with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics
• Experience with design thinking methodologies to solve complex user challenges
• Motion design (micro‑interactions, UI animations).
• Light illustration or iconography skills.
• Graphic design skills.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS.
• Experience designing for multi‑role systems.
