AI Automation Engineer at Enso - Anywhere

enso (https://enso.bot) is a vibe automation platform — like vibe coding, but for automations.

You describe what you want in plain language, and enso turns it into a live, running workflow.

No drawing endless boxes. No wiring spaghetti diagrams. Just:

"Track all my invoices in a google sheet" or "Find all speakers for the upcoming RSA, find their emails, verify and draft outreach to book meetings directly from my gmail".

Teams use enso to connect their tools, automate repetitive work, and ship AI-powered workflows without needing a full engineering squad.

We’re now building a small Automation Engineering group: people who live and breathe automations, APIs, and AI.

If you’ve ever lost an evening playing with Zapier, n8n, Make.com, or your own scripts “just to see if it works” — you’re probably our kind of person.

In this role, you will:

• Design and build AI-powered automations and agents inside enso
• Connect tools via APIs, webhooks, and integrations (CRMs, inboxes, spreadsheets, messaging, etc.)
• Use LLMs to summarize, classify, route, or generate content inside flows
• Turn real-world business processes into simple, reusable automations
• Collaborate with the founders on new features, templates, and internal tools
• Document and (optionally) showcase what you build through short Looms or writeups

This is a builder role, not a “sit in a ticket queue” role.

So -

You don’t need a super formal background. You do need to love building things that actually run.

You probably:

• Have hands-on experience with Zapier, n8n, Make.com, or similar tools
• Are comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and JSON
• Understand the basics of LLMs and prompting
• Enjoy turning messy workflows into clean, automated systems
• Like to experiment and move fast — “let me try this” is your default mode

Bonus points if you’ve:

• Built internal automations at work
• Delivered client automations as a freelancer/consultant
• Played with agent frameworks or LLM orchestration
• Created tutorials, Looms, or docs explaining your automations

Your first task

Instead of sending us a long CV, we want to see how you think with automations.

Your first step is:

Build one automation in enso that solves a real problem you care about.

It can be for your personal life, your current job, or a fictional use-case — as long as it’s real enough that someone would actually use it.

Examples (pick your own twist if you’d like):

• An inbox triage bot that labels and routes emails
• A lead capture → CRM → follow-up flow
• A content workflow that drafts and schedules posts after a trigger
• A notification system that alerts you in Slack/WhatsApp when something important happens

When you’re done:

1. Give the automation a clear name and short description inside enso
2. Take a screenshot or short Loom (optional but helpful)
3. Send a short email to: mickey@enso.bot with:

• Subject: AI Automation Engineer – <Your Name>
• A brief explanation of what your automation does (3–6 sentences)
• A link, screenshot, or Loom showing the flow

We’re not judging you on how “complex” it is.

We care about: clarity, usefulness, and how you think.
